The issue is not only sample size. It is the structure of the population.
In a human panel, representativeness is generally obtained through recruitment, quotas, weighting or calibration. Imagine All The People directly builds a population distribution from reference data, probabilistic dependencies and marginal or cross constraints.
This difference matters as attributes and constraints multiply.
Panels frequently use weighting or calibration methods, including raking, to bring the sample closer to reference distributions. Imagine All The People makes it possible to control a much richer set of explicitly modelled statistical dimensions.

The statistical robustness of the population does not automatically transfer to behavioural answers. Building the population and validating the answers are two distinct layers.
